An exceptional lunch! The Spanish tapas were all excellent from the homemade meatballs to the fried zucchini to the sautéed mushrooms. The service was world class and we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Cannot deny the food was absolutely incredible, really enjoyed every single dish! Happened upon this place because we were in the area for a wedding, so sadly unlikely we will return, but would definitely recommend and if we were back in Glasgow I’m sure we’d seek it out!

Amazing food, decent portions. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The background music is gentle and low, allowing a comfortable conversation and a quiet space to appreciate the food. Quiet restaurants are very rare, so this is my favourite place now.

Family celebration at Elena’s Celebration lunch for 14 family and friends. The quality of food was fantastic and the portions generous. We selected from one of the set menus with a few alterations, all of which were accommodated without any fuss. The food and drinks represented extremely good value and were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present. The service was also first class, staff being both friendly and efficient and a credit to Elena.

Fantastic seafood and great staff. Just had the finest meal in Europe in years, My son, daughter in law and I had the most wonderful sea food platter. Absolutely crammed with lobster, langoustines, crab, prawns , cockles, mussels and the tenderest squid I have tasted. Easily fed 3 but could also serve 4. Brilliant seafood at a fantastic price, will be back, also serving staff were brilliant and laid back. Best of luck in the future!

Fantastic restaurant ideal for arena We had a lovely meal here, everywhere else around was full and wasn’t taking last minute bookings but they managed to get us in. We sat at the bar for tapas which was cool. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food arrived quickly and was of great quality, albeit a little pricey. However overall a great place to eat and well worth it. Ideal if attending events at the OVO hydro.

Very Impressive 1st visit I have walked past Elena's hundreds of times while heading to Finnieston to eat, I will never make that mistake again. My husband and I went for lunch around 3PM on Tuesday 28th July. The restaurant was busy and thankfully we where able to get a table without a booking. Our host was friendly and attentive despite doing all front of house duties solo. This man never stopped the whole time we where there. Service was fast and friendly and despite how busy our host was he still made sure we where enjoying our meal and quickly responded to additional food and drinks requests. We ordered a variety of dishes including, chicken, prawns, tortilla and goat's cheese everything was delicious. The bread basket was fresh, tasty and plentiful, perfect to mop up the oil from our delicious garlic prawns. The little Russian salad presented by our host was a delicious surprise, a nice little touch. I'm sure this will be the 1st of many visits to Elena's as we thoroughly enjoyed every dish, drinks, service and the atmosphere all for a very reasonable price. Great value for money.

I visited this restaurant today for lunch. Seems all trace and trace and social distancing in place, all staff were wearing masks. Were given a table outside, service was a bit slow.. but to be fair the restaurant was busy, one of our drinks was forgotten and the staff had to be reminded. Food did not come out all at once, so we were unable to share and enjoy... which was a shame... as the food was great, hot and enjoyable. Everywhere seemed clean and tidy, staff were friendly and polite.... would I recommend, yes 100%, will I be revisiting... again yes 100%.

I liked everything here. Service was available but unobtrusive and tactful. A complimentary tapas is included and changes daily. The raciónes offered here are larger than tapas. I asked about the dishes from the north and heard the 'Rabas' are Calamari with onions. The adobitos which I think was lightly battered pieces of hake tasted fresh and light. Apparently it's a southern dish. The grilled vegetables were artistically presented. I liked it here enough to stay for pudding. The crema catalana was light and fluffy and I left completely full. Decor here is light, airy and relaxed, neither rustic nor brash modern, a bit like being near the sea. Mixed, fairly quiet clientele and a couple of locals at the bar. It felt exactly like a nice Spanish restaurant in Glasgow! Update: Oct 2019. I've eaten here twice now. Since my first visit it's won awards. One girl had an attitude unsuited to front of house service but apart from that everything still good.

Elena’s has now taken over from Rioja as my favourite Spanish tapas restaurant in Glasgow. The good is so fresh and delicious! And authentically Spanish. A lovely vibe in this restaurant with efficient and friendly staff. I have to especially mention Hannah, who looked after us that night and did a fabulous job! I’ll be back and soon ❤️

Tuesday night meal Superb service, efficient and friendly but never intrusive. Good choice of drinks, quality of food was excellent. The food was true to the Spanish style, not just deep fried dishes. Good portion sizes, slightly larger than many tapas.

Super service, lovely place and you feel like home, it was a little bit pricey but when you taste it you will know why. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

You can’t fail to enjoy lunch here When you walk in you know it’s going to be good at this lovely Spanish restaurant. The smell is wonderful, decor homely, and nice seating that is not cramped at all. Then comes the friendly family feel service, and then great great food. We will be back! How wonderful this simple, clean restaurant with first-class service. The seafood was delicious, it was obviously fresh and to finish we had some strawberry and pineapple Daiquiri prepared by the restaurant owner's fairy hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great wee Spanish restaurant, serving authentic Spanish food and drinks. Spanish people were dining when we visited. Very relaxed atmosphere too and nice staff who I think were all Spanish. Try the Sangria, Chorizo, Patatas Bravas and Tuna salad.

Toured Andalusia a few weeks ago so think the selection and quality of tapas at Elena's is very good, authentic & great quality (apart from the Glasgow weather outside, you could easily be in Spain!). Portions were good, staff knowledgeable, helpful and service quick. I'd recommend to anyone!

Delicious Loved Elena's we were staying in Glasgow for the weekend and googled Spanish tapas and ended up here and I'm so glad we did! We sat outside in the sunshine and the lady who served us(the owner I think?)was lovely knowledgeable and recommended fabulous wine and tapas, we had the tomato salad, hummus, mushroom & spinach croquettes, prawn in chilli oil and iberian ham with cheese and it was all delicious we cannot wait to return.

Amazing option as breakfast with the best taste of Spain at Elena’s Tasteful and vibrant tastes, original plates from Spain breakfast, with options for all! I really enjoy my meal. A great find near SWG3 We booked a table for four in Elena’s for a quick bite to eat prior to attending a music gig in SWG3. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and shown to our seat straight away. Our drinks order was taken promptly, and our food order taken shortly afterwards. There were four of us, so we each selected a couple of tapas dishes to share. We ordered meatballs, patatas bravas, calamari and onion rings, prawns with marie rose sauce, black pudding, mushroom and spinach croquettes, mussels and chicken goujons. All dishes were delicious. A jug of hand made sangria helped the food go down well. Grear location, great food and great service

Decided to have lunch here and was not disappointed. Great host helped with the menu and feeding the kids including one who was a bit fussy so we're Ble to accommodate with some items from the breakfast menu. Ordered vegetarian, vegan and meat tapas dishes and all were delicious and portion sizes were great. Two plates were enough for lunch probably 3 plates for dinner. Churros were delicious. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selections and choices that can be vegetarian or vegan on request as noted on menu.

A very special evening My husband and I chose Elena's for dinner on our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely evening. Delicious food. We will be back. Great food and service. Almost could have been in Spain with the sunshining outside and the delicious tapas style food. We opted for fish - fish stew and the hake with asparagus done two ways as a side. Generous portions with just enough room for a homemade icecream to share. Price pretty reasonable too.

Our best restaurant meal in months! A great meal: a wide range of raciones (more generous than usual tapas); we enjoyed every single one we chose as they were cooked to perfection to well-balanced recipes. Our after dinner coffees and liqueurs were enjoyed in a relaxed comfortably-fed haze (the Belmonte coffee and anis del mono liqueur were both great revelations). The staff were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic without ever being intrusive: a bonus that they were careful and skilled in checking that dishes would not trigger one person's allergy. Comfortable and unpretentious - I could not suggest a single improvement. My only regret is that I hadn't eaten there previously!

A really nice Spanish tapas joint/restaurant. Me and my lady thoroughly enjoyed the food on offer. It was nice sitting outside to eat also. The calamares were delicious, cooked perfect. The patatas bravas very nice with the garlic aioli. The mussels in a creamy white wine sauce were fantastic but the highlight was the goats cheese and walnuts..absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back..muy bien!

We were warmly welcomed by name as we entered having booked online and said we had a dog. They were so dog friendly, seating us in an area with more space and bringing a bowl of water quickly. We enjoyed non alcoholic sangria. So great to have a range of choice of non alcoholic drinks. Also a good range of vegetarian options. I’d highly recommend the home made ice cream.

Of course they removed them when I pointed it out but did not even say sorry. So always check you bill! Great service, yummy food for good prices. Loved all that we got - garlic prawns, prawn soup, garlic langoustines, house wine, meatballs. Love it so much that ended up coming back again the following day to try other items on the menu. Menu is pretty large. Paella can probably feed 4 not just 2 people.

Elena's Spanish Bar & Restaurant Glasgow Highly enjoyed dining at Elena's in Glasgow. Beverage: The glass of Organic Macabeo Sobre Lias, Tierra de Castilla, Torre Solar La Mancha, Spain 7.75 £ for a large glass was fresh and crisp. Appetizer: Albondigas de ternera caseras (homemade meatballs), the meatballs and sauce was excellent! 7.50£ Salad: Mezclum de lechugas (fresh picked lettuce/goats cheese/nuts/strawberry) was superb! 9.50£ Main: Chuletas de Cordero a la parrilla (grilled lamb chops) was served with fried potatoes, grilled tomato and padron peppers, the 3 vegetables would have benefited from a light sprinkle of sea salt. 17.00£ Dessert: Crema catalana (creme brulee) 7£ was clumpy but flavorful. Service was very good until the end when it became scattered and the staff did not appear to be communicating well with each other regarding our order. Quality for price is very good.

Food was really nice and tasty. Sadly this was slightly let down by the service , with 2 of the younger staff looking like they didn’t really want to be there but managed to look busy all the time. Was really hard to get their attention despite being in view of the bar resulting after 5 minutes of me having to stand up and approach the bar . This was picked up by one of their colleagues and they then came to our table to take our additional food orders . We had a range of dishes including the grilled vegetables which were a really nice accompaniment with everything else. For desert I had 2 scoops of the home made ice cream which were absolutely delicious .

An amazing evening of great tapas and good friends!! Elena put on an amazing afternoon (and evening!) for us and friends to celebrate a big birthday. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble and the food and wine just kept on coming at a lively pace. The dishes served were all so varied and yet the one thing they did have in common was that they were all straight out of the top drawer! Her descriptions of the ingredients she uses and where she sources them from was quite incredible: little things like that definitely make the difference. I couldnt recommend Elena's enough. Authentic and delicious First time I’d been and won’t be the last. Paella was the best I’ve had outside of Spain. Having been to Galicia I can confirm the pulpo a la gallega was as authentic as it gets and the Iberian ham and calamari were both delicious. Two of our friends are veggie and they loved their veggie tapas - particularly the croquettes. Much better than going to a chain like Cafe Andaluz. The “coronarita” cocktails were also great fun. It’s not cheap but good Spanish food isn’t cheap and the service could have been a little better but it was very busy on a Saturday night. One of the pictures on the wall is definitely San Sebastián (I’ve stood on that view point!) and not Santander as the waiter claimed (haha!).

Without a doubt, the best tapas I've eaten in Glasgow We came here for Saturday lunch and arrived at 12:30. We were quickly seated and offered drinks. As in some other places, even in Spain, staff knowledge of dry and medium sherry was scanty. I showed the waiter a photo on my phone of Tio Pepe by Gonzalez Byass to no avail. We did notice eventually they had a Manzanilla and Pedro Ximénez available on the menu, so it was resolved and we had Manzanilla and an Estrella Damm (Bottled as there was a problem with the draught beer). We ordered and the food came very quickly: Croquetas, Gambas al Ajillo, Chorizo a la Sidra, Ensalada de Pimientos asados and Esparragos trigueros empanados sobre Ali-Oli. All were perfect in presentation and flavour and I doubt if they could be better anywhere. Wine was reasonably priced at £22.50 for a Rioja Rosado. This was followed by Crema Catalana, coffee and Soberano brandy. Altogether a memorable meal. The only fly in the ointment was the service, which was helpful but rather lumbering. Our waiter, I guess, was fairly new and had to be reminded at times. This would not prevent our going back, however.

Great wee authentic place. All the food was phenomenal and very friendly nice staff. Was great to see all the staff sit down together for lunch - just like you see in restaurants in Spain. Great laidback vibe. We will definitely be back!

We were in Elenas’s last night for food, I have to say the Food was absolutely Delicious. We were well looked after by all the Staff, it is a Wee Gem 💎 of a Restaurant, Would thoroughly Recommend it to all.

Three full plates + dessert for a tenner and good gluten free options WITHOUT a surcharge. Great value for money but not because of quantity alone--great food. It's different than the Mexican-style cuisine I'm used to back home but very, very good.

Came here for lunch on Saturday and was so full, I couldn’t eat dinner. Picked this specifically as they list all their allergens on the menu (I’m Gf)

All the food was delicious, especially the Octopus - yum yum! Also the chicken goujon so with the dip, fantastic, give me 2 lots next time

Forget the Brunch Club across the street - this is THE place to go for brunch! I ordered potatoes with chorizo and fried eggs and the portion was HUGE and the chorizo was DELISH. Kiddo got mini churros and a hot chocolate which came with freshly roasted marshmallows! Price was great too - around £25 for two, and we left with our tummies happily full. Even directed some of the people wandering around nearby to try it out. Will definitely be back, and already recommending to all my friends.

Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff here. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Food was amazing with good size portions, you'll only need two plates. Dietary restrictions: They have a separate fryer here for gluten free people.

Taste of Spain Lovely place. Menu of Raciones (bigger portions than Tapas) and Main Dishes. We had a super selection including meat balls, pulpo, padrons, and grilled vegetables . Just great. The place is close by Kelvingrove museums. Well worth a visit. We felt as if we had been transported to Spain, after three years without being able to visit!

What a find! Really fantastic, authentic Spanish food. The seafood paella was sensational and the tortilla starter was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Lovely staff too. There’s a lot of eateries in Finnieston Hydro strip. This is the best imho.

Went for late lunch / early dinner for a birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were engaging and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the best way for us to order. Every dish was delicious and we were struggling to finish everything in the end. We were going to go somewhere else for a drink afterwards but had had such a lovely time we ended up just sitting outside in a rare blast of Glasgow sunshine with another bottle of wine and another delightful waitress. Can't wait to go back. 😋😋😋
