Great wee Spanish restaurant, serving authentic Spanish food and drinks. Spanish people were dining when we visited. Very relaxed atmosphere too and nice staff who I think were all Spanish. Try the Sangria, Chorizo, Patatas Bravas and Tuna salad.

Passionate It was clear that the everyone was passionate about the food that was being shared with us. The welcome and the service were warm and friendly. The food was a treat. I loved the roasted padron peppers with salt flakes and the pineapple & mint juice. The homemade ice cream was the best I’ve had in a long while. We can’t wait to bring friends and family to this wee gem.

Came here with 5 people and overall was a really great experience. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient. Kept us topped up with drinks and were quick to clear plates as required. We ordered 11 plates in total, including the calamari, mussels, deep friend courgettes, chicken skewers, churros, mixed croquettes, Iberian ham. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Also offers a good selection of drinks. Definitely a place to go for dinner if you find yourself in the west end.

Amazing option as breakfast with the best taste of Spain at Elena’s Tasteful and vibrant tastes, original plates from Spain breakfast, with options for all! I really enjoy my meal. Fantastic seafood and great staff. Just had the finest meal in Europe in years, My son, daughter in law and I had the most wonderful sea food platter. Absolutely crammed with lobster, langoustines, crab, prawns , cockles, mussels and the tenderest squid I have tasted. Easily fed 3 but could also serve 4. Brilliant seafood at a fantastic price, will be back, also serving staff were brilliant and laid back. Best of luck in the future!

This was the best Spanish food ive had outside of Spain. I grew up in southern Spain and the food here is on par. Will be back as soon as we can. Cannot fault the restaurant or food at all.

An exceptional lunch! The Spanish tapas were all excellent from the homemade meatballs to the fried zucchini to the sautéed mushrooms. The service was world class and we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Soup, sandwich & sun Wandering past at noon and spotted their lunchtime meal deal. It was something a bit different so in we went. Ordered seafood soup & sandwich, with a cerveza plus a side of sachi papas. Even the sun came out to make it feel even more like we were in Spain! Super service too.

Amazing Flavours! We have eaten here before and as usual the food is SO full of flavour. To begin with two small free tapas are brought to the table while we ordered. We ordered 5 tapas between two of us and this was more than ample. Whilst I always choose the mixed croquetas, next time I am going to choose one of the unmixed options - just for a change. The breaded asparagus in garlic was amazing. The Blancp Leiawashed everything down a treat, and the tarta santiago was amazing. As usual we look forward to the next time!

Read the reviews and as we were across in Glasgow visiting both the SEC and Kelvingrove Museum [bit of an uphill climb during our surprisingly warm/hot summer 😉 ] we decided to give it a try. Not disappointed. In fact we were delighted by both the food and the service.

Could not fault the attentive service when we arrived, opting for the cool of an inside table. [We had phoned ahead to ensure a table and make sure it was open & had to leave a message. Learnt later that Elena's daughter was having to cope on her own during a busy patch.]

The 2 tapas + drink is a true bargain at £15! That gave us six to choose. The youngest in our party had opted for the tomato soup of the day and we were all treated to the Spanish equivalent of an 'amuse bouche' . Recommend the brie & walnuts, meatballs and especially the grilled vegetables which were worth the wait.

A glass of red, coffee made up two of the drinks in the package. The freshly squeezed orange was not included amongst the options but was refreshing and good value nevertheless.

All in all, a success. Looking forward to trying other tapas options next time.

Food was soooo gooood!! We enjoyed our tapas! Our fav is chorizo in cider. Didn't expect it to taste that gooood! We had 5 course tapas and all of it was amazing.

Went for late lunch / early dinner for a birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were engaging and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the best way for us to order. Every dish was delicious and we were struggling to finish everything in the end. We were going to go somewhere else for a drink afterwards but had had such a lovely time we ended up just sitting outside in a rare blast of Glasgow sunshine with another bottle of wine and another delightful waitress. Can't wait to go back. 😋😋😋

Decided to have lunch here and was not disappointed. Great host helped with the menu and feeding the kids including one who was a bit fussy so we're Ble to accommodate with some items from the breakfast menu. Ordered vegetarian, vegan and meat tapas dishes and all were delicious and portion sizes were great. Two plates were enough for lunch probably 3 plates for dinner. Churros were delicious. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selections and choices that can be vegetarian or vegan on request as noted on menu.

Tasty food that is 2x larger than tapas, 2½ plates would be what I recommend. The dessert topped off a great meal. And the service was top class! Will definitely be back.

A great find near SWG3 We booked a table for four in Elena’s for a quick bite to eat prior to attending a music gig in SWG3. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and shown to our seat straight away. Our drinks order was taken promptly, and our food order taken shortly afterwards. There were four of us, so we each selected a couple of tapas dishes to share. We ordered meatballs, patatas bravas, calamari and onion rings, prawns with marie rose sauce, black pudding, mushroom and spinach croquettes, mussels and chicken goujons. All dishes were delicious. A jug of hand made sangria helped the food go down well. Grear location, great food and great service

Delicious Loved Elena's we were staying in Glasgow for the weekend and googled Spanish tapas and ended up here and I'm so glad we did! We sat outside in the sunshine and the lady who served us(the owner I think?)was lovely knowledgeable and recommended fabulous wine and tapas, we had the tomato salad, hummus, mushroom & spinach croquettes, prawn in chilli oil and iberian ham with cheese and it was all delicious we cannot wait to return.

This is a gem! Lots of well-cooked Northern Spanish food, with a lot of extras prepared in-house, rather than bought in jars. Lots of tapas, but the paellas are signature dishes. Drink/cocktail menus good too. Busy weekends, but quiet midweek - surprising given the quality and authenticity of what's on offer.

Came here for lunch on Saturday and was so full, I couldn’t eat dinner. Picked this specifically as they list all their allergens on the menu (I’m Gf)

All the food was delicious, especially the Octopus - yum yum! Also the chicken goujon so with the dip, fantastic, give me 2 lots next time

You can’t fail to enjoy lunch here When you walk in you know it’s going to be good at this lovely Spanish restaurant. The smell is wonderful, decor homely, and nice seating that is not cramped at all. Then comes the friendly family feel service, and then great great food. We ate for three with a bottle of wine and when the bill came it felt totally reasonable on the wallet. Take your friends or family. You can’t fail to enjoy lunch here. It’s great

Went for brunch today and the restaurant was incredibly quiet but NO IDEA how the food was absolutely wonderful and the service was 10/10. This placed should be absolutely booked out for breakfast. Will 100% be back.

Go for the food. Just go! The food is excellent Two of us shared three dishes, a salad, a pork dish and a grilled veg dish. Good sizes and unbelievably tasty. We were there early evening and it was still quiet, but even still the place has a good atmosphere and the service was great. I will be back!

Amazing Spanish food I have been here quite a few times over the years and it never disappoints. Everything is amazingly good. The flavour is spot on and the quality of the ingredients is superb. I am myself originally from the North of Spain and I can say all the dishes are very tasty. No wonder I keep coming every time I want to enjoy our typical cuisine. This time there is a special mention to those "torrijas" (fried bread), which brought back some fond memories from my childhood. By the way, their cocktails are out of this world as well!

Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff here. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Food was amazing with good size portions, you'll only need two plates. Dietary restrictions: They have a separate fryer here for gluten free people.

We were a group of 4 and had a variety of dishes, all of which were very good. It was a lunchtime and was quite quiet but I would imagine it would be much busier in the evening. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient .I would definitely go back.

Wonderful dinner in friendly atmosphere near Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum While exploring University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Park in the afternoon, we were thinking of having dinner nearby. We chose Elena’s place and we were not disappointed at all. Elena is the owner of this Spanish, Mediterranean restaurant and helped us to choose items including non-alcoholic drink. All the items were super tasty and reasonably priced. We sat outside as evening weather was very comfy. Elena and her team members checked several times if everything is ok or we need anything. Toured Andalusia a few weeks ago so think the selection and quality of tapas at Elena's is very good, authentic & great quality (apart from the Glasgow weather outside, you could easily be in Spain!). Portions were good, staff knowledgeable, helpful and service quick. I'd recommend to anyone!

Brilliant food with big portions (for tapas). Really enjoyed our meal with highlights being pork loin, langoustines and octopus. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more for us. We'll be back for sure.

I initially invested a total of $500 over a period of 5 weeks. I went here on Halloween with friends. I had the octopus main as a starter and the seafood platter. The octopus was ok, didn't taste of much seasoning. The seafood platter with lobster was HUGE. It was £60 and have to say it's the biggest platter I've ever seen, you'd normally pay this amount for something a third of the size as there was no salad padding underneath, it was seafood down to the plate! I've grown used to platters being for one so was pleasantly surprised. There was so much I took a doggie bag for lunch the next day. My friends all had the tapas which they said was ok. They also had sirloin steaks and although they asked for well done, all were medium and one of the guys couldn't eat a big part of his as he doesn't like pink meat so eat around the pink bits. Overall it was fantastic value for money though it was more quantity over quality (except for the platter, which was lovely)

Fantastic, Amazing, Fabulous and all the other good things. This was the most fabulous place. The food was excellent, great choices and brilliant recommendations from the staff. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially our waitress Nidia who was an absolute super star. . The various croquettes were stunning and the garlic prawns were to die for, we should have just ordered more bread to mop up that amazing sauce. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

We were warmly welcomed by name as we entered having booked online and said we had a dog. They were so dog friendly, seating us in an area with more space and bringing a bowl of water quickly. We enjoyed non alcoholic sangria. So great to have a range of choice of non alcoholic drinks. Also a good range of vegetarian options. I’d highly recommend the home made ice cream.

An amazing evening of great tapas and good friends!! Elena put on an amazing afternoon (and evening!) for us and friends to celebrate a big birthday. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble and the food and wine just kept on coming at a lively pace. The dishes served were all so varied and yet the one thing they did have in common was that they were all straight out of the top drawer! Her descriptions of the ingredients she uses and where she sources them from was quite incredible: little things like that definitely make the difference. I couldnt recommend Elena's enough. Excellent! I went here with my Daughter, Son in law and Grandson on Wednesday 12th of April after a great visit to the Riverside museum. My daughter picked the venue (it’s usually my job to pick as I’m a chef) , however I left it up to her. What a great choice! We arrived a wee bit early however this was not an issue, it would have been lovely to sit outside but it was a wee bit chilly. (Must be lovely in the summer ) We were seated quickly , given the menus, asked about allergies etc, all very professional. The ambience of the place was great, sun shining through the window, good music etc. Actually felt like we were in Spain. The young lady took our drinks order and returned to take our food order shortly after. There were three of us so we decided to order 9 dishes between us as they were doing a ‘buy two get the third free’ offer. We were given a complimentary potato salad as an ‘Amuse Bouche’ which was lovely. The food - We had - Home made bread, butter, balsamic vinegar and olives Garlic prawns Chicken strips Deep fried asparagus Black Pudding Croquettes Chorizo cooked in red wine Battered King Prawns Patatas Bravas Deep fried Brie & Pardon peppers All served with appropriate sauces and dips. Every dish was extremely tasty and we ate the lot! Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert as wee were too full, but they even make their own ice cream !, All in all a great experience and I wish I lived a bit closer as I would be in there at least a couple of times a week! I think you can just pop in for a drink too? We will definitely return here soon, Special mention must go to the young lady and the gentleman who served us. They were outstanding (I apologise for not getting their names! )Both them are a credit to the business. Bill was £80 which included 4 pints of lovely beer. Muchas gracias, hasta pronto!

I was there on Friday with my wife then Tuesday with my Spanish class so that's me been three times(I was there before Christmas with the class) I would definitely recommend it the food🥘🥧🍲🍤 is a AMAZING!! as are the drinks🍺🍷😉 👍

Elena's Spanish Bar & Restaurant Glasgow Highly enjoyed dining at Elena's in Glasgow. Beverage: The glass of Organic Macabeo Sobre Lias, Tierra de Castilla, Torre Solar La Mancha, Spain 7.75 £ for a large glass was fresh and crisp. Appetizer: Albondigas de ternera caseras (homemade meatballs), the meatballs and sauce was excellent! 7.50£ Salad: Mezclum de lechugas (fresh picked lettuce/goats cheese/nuts/strawberry) was superb! 9.50£ Main: Chuletas de Cordero a la parrilla (grilled lamb chops) was served with fried potatoes, grilled tomato and padron peppers, the 3 vegetables would have benefited from a light sprinkle of sea salt. 17.00£ Dessert: Crema catalana (creme brulee) 7£ was clumpy but flavorful. Service was very good until the end when it became scattered and the staff did not appear to be communicating well with each other regarding our order. Quality for price is very good.

Oustanding! Seven years after opening, Elena's remains outstanding. The selection of larger-than-average tapas is extensive. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly--and on a busy Friday evening Elena personally served us! We hope the chicken stuffed with vegetables (a special for the night) makes it onto the regular menu. Location is just across the road from Kelvingrove Museum.

Great Sunday Brunch Visited Sunday morning for family and friends brunch. We had eaten here before, but always later in the day. Nice selection of freshly made juices, my pineapple and mint was very good. I also tried the strawberry juice, first time that I’ve had fresh strawberry juice. We had quite a selection of dishes as we were a table of 10. The dishes came out of the kitchen one by one as they were ready, just like the later in the day food we’ve had here before. Would definitely return.

My husband and I walked into Elena's today to enjoy a very filling and delicious Spanish Sunday Brunch. A beautiful little neighbourhood cafe/bar/restaurant on the far corner of Regent Moray Street, a stone's throw away from Kelvin Grove Gallery and Museum.
We were warmly greeted by Elena herself, she definitely brought a wee bit of Spanish sunshine to our table on a wet Glasgow morning. The rest of the team were equally friendly and attentive, giving us really good service and chat.
I had heard a lot of good things about the Brunch and I can safely say it was delicious. See photos below. One of the best brunches in the area, for sure, if not Glasgow. Authentic home cooked Spanish food. It was great to try something a little different.
My husband had mushrooms, patatas bravas and eggs, perfect for his vegetarian requirements, I had Spanish cheese and ham toastie with eggs and patatas bravas. It was so tasty and so big too. Excellent value. The eggs were done perfectly to allow you to dip your patatas bravas into the soft runny yolks. I also had a lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. I can see why the restaurant is so popular, deservedly so! Definitely worth checking out. Food standards and service were second to none. All served up in a homely wee Spanish restaurant. 5* Thank you Elena and team. We will be back.

Just popped in for a beer on a sunny evening and decided to have some food because it smelled so good. We were not disappointed - the staff were lovely, service excellent and the food was delicious. Calamari was perfect, which can be a hit or a miss. We will definitely be back and would recommend if you're looking for delicious, authentic Spanish food 😊

Cannot deny the food was absolutely incredible, really enjoyed every single dish! Happened upon this place because we were in the area for a wedding, so sadly unlikely we will return, but would definitely recommend and if we were back in Glasgow I’m sure we’d seek it out!
